Let me tell you something about us…
My name is Laura, I’m a Dutch mom, living in Switzerland, married to my French-Swiss husband and a mother of 2 boys. I like to discover places, meet people, learn about cultures, travel around, and I like to share this passion with my family. I am curious, and I love the fact that travelling always triggers the curiosity of children. Far away, or close to home, it doesn’t really matter. Exploring, visiting places and changes of scenery makes you wonder about things, makes children ask you questions, makes you have conversations and learn languages. In school children will learn all about mathematics and verbs. But moving around is a school of life, even for adults!

I’ve often been asked for travel tips… by colleagues, by friends… and since I happen to like to write as well, I’ve decided to create this website! I hope it will give you some fun ideas of where to go!
Are there affiliate programmes on your website?
Of course there are! I’m writing all of this down and I’m having fun doing that! However, if you are going to book one of the hotels I recommended, it would be nice to book them through the link on my website. If you book through one of those links, it doesn’t cost you anything extra, but it will give me a small commission and since I take the time to write down these travel tips, I believe this is an honest way to help eachother.
This website will continuously change as we move around, so stay tuned!
That would be nice! I’m open for suggestions! Would you like me to try out a new spot? Or write an article about a specific location for a magazine or other website? Let me know!
Where else can you read my work?
I was very happy to be included in the monthly round up of Best Family Travel Blogs in April 2018 by Lonely Planet Kids with my article on Street Art in Brooklyn with Kids!
